Story Excerpts

Story Excerpts

From 2022 to 2024, the NASA PATHS Storytelling Program worked closely each year with BIPOC students and young professionals to document and disseminate their STEM stories to public audiences via exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and on-line venues. We currently have a total of 26 BIPOC stories in our library collection.  These original digital story coproductions offer deep and moving insights in relation to BIPOC STEM education, careers, and family or community contexts.

You may watch excerpts of our story products by accessing the links for 2022, 2023, and 2024. These videos were created for educational purposes and should be shared responsibly.   Fundamentally, we ask you to respect the intellectual property value represented not only in the products, but also the process of our work which has been time-intensive, multi-layered, authentic, contextually-grounded, and deeply personal for each of the BIPOC co-producers and all involved with the NASA PATHS Storytelling Program. If/when you use any of our story products, please engage responsibly with us while introducing NASA PATHS Storytelling Program and the UMB Digital Storytelling in Asian American Studies Lab to others. Contact us via info@pathspartners.org and asamst@umb.edu. We look forward to your feedback and reflections.
